NEW Operation World

Operation World is an AMAZING book for all the people groups in the world. I use this book daily. LOVE IT! A NEW edition is available out now. You can order it from Barnes and Noble by clicking here. This book goes through different countries and shows the location, primary religion, challenges, stories of Christians in that particular country, and how to pray specifically for the country. I love how you can be a part of ALL NATIONS with this book. I love how you can pray for needs of ALL NATIONS with this book.

God's Promises

While I am in the waiting room, I am preparing. Psalm 23 is a very memorable passage for many people. I have been reading it since last Sunday. Such a beautiful passage of God's promises for His people. Here is the passage from The Message:
Psalm 23: A David Psalm
1-3 God, my shepherd! I don't need a thing.
You have bedded me down in lush meadows,
you find me quiet pools to drink from.
True to your word,
you let me catch my breath
and send me in the right direction.

4 Even when the way goes through
Death Valley,
I'm not afraid
when you walk at my side.
Your trusty shepherd's crook
makes me feel secure.

5 You serve me a six-course dinner
right in front of my enemies.
You revive my drooping head;
my cup brims with blessing.

6 Your beauty and love chase after me
every day of my life.
I'm back home in the house of God
for the rest of my life.

I LOVE YOU MORE...

Beautiful song by Matthew West, More! He loves us more than everything else created for His glory! GOD LOVES US MORE! And because He loves us so much, we obey and follow Him!

Take a look at the mountains
Stretching a mile high
Take a look at the ocean
Far as your eye can see
And think of Me

Take a look at the desert
Do you feel like a grain of sand?
I am with you wherever
Where you go is where I am

And I'm always thinking of you
Take a look around you
I'm spelling it out one by one

I love you more than the sun
And the stars that I taught how to shine
You are mine, and you shine for me too
I love you yesterday and today
And tomorrow, I'll say it again and again
I love you more

Just a face in the city
Just a tear on a crowded street
But you are one in a million
And you belong to Me

And I want you to know
That I'm not letting go
Even when you come undone

I love you more than the sun
And the stars that I taught how to shine
You are mine, and you shine for me too
I love you yesterday and today
And tomorrow, I'll say it again and again
I love you more
I love you more

Shine for Me
Shine for Me
Shine on, shine on
Shine for Me

I love you more than the sun
And the stars that I taught how to shine
You are mine, and you shine for me too
I love you yesterday and today
And tomorrow, I'll say it again and again
I love you more

Than the sun
and the stars that I taught how to shine
You are mine, and you shine for me too
I love you, yesterday and today
Through the joy and the pain
I'll say it again and again
I love you more
I love you more

And I see you
And I made you
And I love you more than you can imagine
More than you can fathom
I love you more than the sun
And you shine for me

Maize

Maize is a staple in the diet of the people of Swaziland. A single 110lb bag of ground maize can provide a meal for 250 people. At Project Canaan, we are happy to have 500 bags of maize ready to be used in the communities throughout Swaziland. Through the churches that we support, we would like to get this maize in the hands of the people that need it most. For a donation of $50, Heart for Africa can grind the maize into flour and deliver to the church of your choice. Help us feed the people of Swaziland with Project Canaan Maize.

I LOVE MY CHURCH! They are amazing! Help send them MAIZE for the kids to eat. Its Church #13 Emtfuntini Church.

Camp Litsemba

Litsemba means HOPE! I am so excited to be teaching the kids this week about an amazing HOPE in Jesus Christ. We have an amazing curriculum for Camp Litsemba. During Camp Litsemba, we are partnering with a church in an area. Heart for Africa and the church are partnering together to provide food with a garden and spiritual lessons for the kids in that area. The church I am going to is the Emtfuntini Church. The church is in the Hhohho region in Mgungundlova-Hhohho.

Poverty and hunger are serious issues in this community. The garden that is in use has a problem with goats eating the food. We are helping by fencing off the garden. Camp Litsemba will happen for around 15 kids ages 2-5 years old. They will learn amazing truths. The three truths they will learn are the following:

Jesus LOVES me!
Jesus CHOSE me!
Jesus is my HOPE!

We have exciting activities and Bible stories to teach the above truths! I LOVE the curriculum!!! It is going to be an amazing experience to show the children through actions, love, and words that there is a HOPE in Jesus Christ no matter what! I can't wait to let my LIGHT SHINE and see how I am used for His glory!

Like A Child

I have downloaded the amazing songs for the Litsemba Church Camps in Swaziland. One song is "Like a Child." It really broke my heart for the children of Swaziland.
The Lyrics are by Glenn Marais.

Just 6 years olf and all along in the world,
a child am I, a child am I
I lay my brother and sister to sleep, cry alone.
At where we be, a child am I

Where is the world, when we cry in the night?
Where is the world, when our parents are dying?
Where is the world, when we can save a life, by reaching out, Just like a child.

Do we close out eyes to the pain in the world,
A child cries out, a child cries out.
One reaches out and another joins in,
Together we can, all begin, a child cries out.

Where is the world, when we cry in the night?
Where is the world, when our parents are dying?
Where is the world, when we can save a life, by reaching out, Just like a child.

Do you go to sleep at night, warm without a care?
Can you go to sleep tonight, and know that, somewhere, a child is all alone, all alone!

James 1:27

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this:
to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

Surely We Can Change... by David Crowder

We can together do something BIG! We can help others! If we all do something small imagine how much the world can change! WOW! We CAN!

And the problem is this
We were bought with a kiss
But the cheek still turned
Even when it wasn't hit

And I don't know
What to do with a love like that
And I don't know
How to be a love like that

When all the love in the world
Is right here among us
And hatred too
And so we must choose
What our hands will do

Where there is pain
Let there be grace
Where there is suffering
Bring serenity
For those afraid
Help them be brave
Where there is misery
Bring expectancy
And surely we can change
Surely we can change
Something

And the problem it seems
Is with you and me
Not the Love who came
To repair everything

Where there is pain
Let us bring grace
Where there is suffering
Bring serenity
For those afraid
Let us be brave
Where there is misery
Let us bring them relief
And surely we can change
Surely we can change
Oh surely we can change
Something

Oh, the world's about to change
The whole world's about to change

My Heart for the Nations

Please let me share with you a moment my heart for the nations. My heart for the nations began in childhood. God does many amazing, strategic plans for one’s life. He knows what we are going to do and prepares us along the way. It is very exciting to think He has it all planned and will give us the desires of our hearts. My father constantly told my mother when I was a child; I was going to be a missionary. I remember my whole childhood having a love for missions and foreign countries.

A very important person in my life is Bobby Jones. He was my Youth/College Minister at First Baptist LaGrange. Bobby asked the hard questions and made us think about our spiritual lives with God. I learned many things from him and his family. During college, I had been struggling with deci-sions on life plans. I heard Him call me into full time service. I did not know when or where but I knew I was going. Mission opportunities allowed me to hear God’s voice and allowed me for discern-ment with my life.

Another, influential person in my life is Katlyn Pedroza; she is a full-time missionary in Asia. She taught me true missions. I learned there is no such thing as a mission trip. Missions is a life-style. Every moment of your life should be a moment to show our Heavenly Father’s love to a person. Christians should always have Jesus’ eyes and Spirit ears. After learning missions is a lifestyle, I changed my perspective of missions. I still have a yearning for a foreign country but I know there will be a time and a place. Missions is my lifestyle with my current job and living in my home.

Church planting is a totally new way of thinking church. It is spectacular to see how the church is really the people and not the building. My current job is Director of Children’s Ministry at Auburn Church. Bobby Jones, my Youth/College Minister, remembered my calling and asked me to be apart of this amazing adventure called Auburn Church. Auburn Church is a church for the unchurched. It creates relative environments for people to invite others who do not know the love of Jesus Christ. As I work at Auburn Church, I feel as if I am a missionary in Auburn. I develop rela-tionships to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Passion for foreign countries is an amazing calling. I love to see how God is transforming my life into missions each and every moment. As I grow closer to Him and am in constant conversation with Him, I see His plan. My favorite verse is Psalm 46:10. “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in all the earth. ”My mission is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. The people are in my apartments, Auburn, and anywhere in the world. “I’ll go anywhere, do anything, at any cost for You my King!” Steve Fee wrote a song about burning for Jesus to the ends of the earth. This song has meant so much to me as I am living for Him and developing into what He wants me to be. I think of this song as my theme statement. It is very true with my life for my King. My call in life is to lead people of other nations into a growing relation-ship with Jesus Christ.
