WOWSERS Saturday

Wow... today I have kind of a surreal feeling about beautiful Africa.  Saturday is rapidly approaching.  I am so excited to go and serve the beautiful people of Swaziland.  It will be the Kingdom adventure of a lifetime. He has given me a huge FIRE to love others like Christ loves us.
I am looking forward to holding their hands, seeing their smiles, praying for them, worshiping with them, giving them hugs, seeing Seezo, helping cook with my friends, being called Auntie Amber, singing OH HAPPY DAY, talking with them without words, showing them Jesus, learning from them and so much more which leaves me speechless!
There is a passion in my heart for the world!  I am thankful I have the pleasure of living my passion out.  God has given me so many blessings as I seek His magnificent face and will for my life.
Please pray for me for the following:
To have Jesus’ eyes and the Spirit’s ears as I serve.
I want to be able to be flexible and seek His plan not my own as I am there.
A hedge of protection and wellness.
To always be on a mission for Him.
To be obedient no matter the cost.
Thank you for being in my life and your prayers.

Two Beautiful Months!

I have the extreme privilege of serving my beautiful God to Swaziland this summer.  I am so thankful He is going to use me to shine His Light to the wonderful people of Swaziland, Canada, Taiwan, and the United States!  In two months, I will leave for two beautiful months in Swaziland, Africa.

Here are some specific prayer requests as I prepare for this summer:

1.  For my light to shine bright!
2.  For discernment.
3.  For Jesus hands and Spirit ears.
4.  For hedge of protection.
5.  For wellness.
6.  For His mighty strength.

I am honored to shine bright for Him in the beautiful country of Swaziland.  You are a spectacular part of my life.  I am thankful for YOU!  Have a beautiful day!

The Sounds of Heaven

God has given my a heart for the beautiful nations, tribes, and people groups. Psalm 46:10, says the following: Be still and know that I am God, I will be exalted among the nations. This song defiantly exalts God throughout His many nations and tribes. I am thankful for God's beautiful sounds glorifying Him in sweet harmony. How great is our God that He made each of us so different and in His own image. Heaven is going to be spectacular!

God's Sweet Comforting Whisper

Thankful for the cross and laying my burdens down on it. As I work on giving them to the cross, Jesus Calling was God’s sweet whisper to me today. I am so thankful how God has everything planned out to His perfect goodness. I am thankful for the trials and tribulations of this earthly life so I may lean into Him and feel His perfect goodness in my heart.

Jesus Calling for April 3rd:

“In me you have everything. In me you are complete. Your capacity to experience Me is increasing, through My removal of debris and clutter from your heart. As your yearning for Me increases, other desires are gradually lessening. Since I am infinite and abundantly accessible to you, desiring Me above all else is the best way to live.

It is impossible for you to have a need that I cannot meet. After all, I created you and everything that is. The world is still at My beck and call, though it often appears otherwise. Do not be fooled by appearances. Things that are visible are brief and fleeting, while things that are invisible are everlasting. "

"God can do anything, you know-far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us." Ephesians 3:20

Lay Me Down

With this hear open wide, from the depths from the heights, I will bring a sacrifice with these hands lifted high. Here my song here my cry. I will bring a sacrifice.

I lay me down. I’m not my own. I belong to you alone.
Lay me down
Lay me down
Hand on my heart. This much is true. There’s no life apart from you
Lay me down
Lay me down

Letting go of my pride, giving up all my rights, take this life and let it shine!

It will be my joy to say.
Your will
Your way
It will be my joy to say
Your will
Your way Always!

Love is...

Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being "in love" which any of us can convince ourselves we are.

Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Your mother and I had it, we had roots that grew towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossom had fallen from our branches we found that we were one tree and not two.

Never Once

I was listening to Matt Redman’s song Never Once today and I began to tear up as I am currently on a mountaintop and looking back at what God has done. God has been with me as I take each step. My life is focused on following His plan within His perfect timing.

I went to Auburn this past week, it made me think specifically about my time at Auburn Church. God was always walking with me, as I was full heartily serving Him. I thought of the beautiful things God used me for in Auburn for His glory. Here are just a few of the things: a BIG faith, perseverance, praying continuously, Christ like love, the mission field is where you are, dependence on Him and no one else, life is an adventure, loving kids, serving volunteers, and so much more!

Never once was I alone! I am thankful for God’s grace and mercy as I look back on my precious moments at Auburn Church.

Here are the Lyrics from Never Once:

Standing on this mountaintop
Looking just how far we’ve come
Knowing that for every step
You were with us

Kneeling on this battle ground
Seeing just how much You’ve done
Knowing every victory
Was Your power in us

Scars and struggles on the way
But with joy our hearts can say
Yes, our hearts can say

Never once did we ever walk alone
Never once did You leave us on our own
You are faithful, God, You are faithful

Kneeling on this battle ground
Seeing just how much You’ve done
Knowing every victory
Was Your power in us

Scars and struggles on the way
But with joy our hearts can say
Yes, our hearts can say

Never once did we ever walk alone
Never once did You leave us on our own
You are faithful, God, You are faithful
You are faithful, God, You are faithful

Scars and struggles on the way
But with joy our hearts can say
Never once did we ever walk alone
Carried by Your constant grace
Held within Your perfect peace
Never once, no, we never walk alone

Never once did we ever walk alone
Never once did You leave us on our own
You are faithful, God, You are faithful

Every step we are breathing in Your grace
Evermore we’ll be breathing out Your praise
You are faithful, God, You are faithful
You are faithful, God, You are faithful

You are faithful, God, You are faithful
You are faithful, God, You are faithful
